Tutor for QTS numeracy skills test in Christchurch, Gloucestershire

If you're starting a teaching course in September and need help with the QTS numeracy skills test then please contact me. I started tutoring this year, specialising in A-Level and GCSE. However, I was approached to help with preparing for the QTS test, so now I am familiar with its requirements. It presents a few unusual challenges, compared to other qualifications, such as the psychological pressure of the time constraints, traps in the wording of the questions and topics that may be unfamiliar to many. Currently, I am a part-time PhD student researching in the field of computational optimisation and have a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. I have nearly completed a GPROF teaching course at the University of Portsmouth and this has included some assistant tutoring to computer science degree students. My rates are £25 per hour and I have a current Enhanced CRB certificate (I am also a Badminton coach). I look forward to hearing from you, Joe.
